[NVIDIA Beta driver 545.23.06] Flicker during Video playback and in Vulkan games on 1080 Ti

Hello,
I have issues with screen flicker on 1080 Ti after the update to 545.23.06. A downgrade to 515 fixes the issue. Any suggestions?

Are you using VRR or Gsync by any chance?

The problem persists if I disable Adaptive Sync (VRR) on my display. The bug mainly manifests during video playback in VLC or gaming.

Yeah, disabling VRR on my display didn’t solve the issue for me, but disabling it via the Nvidia settings panel did. Try that and see if it fixes your issue.

Experiencing the same issue on my 1080Ti with the production driver 545.29.02.

Interestingly it occurs on Wayland but not X11. No VRR (no supported on Pascal + Wayland).
