RTX Features (Raytracing/AI) ever coming to OpenGL?

Atm I have a working 3D engine wrote using OpenGL 4.5 - But I am worried about the fact I see no sign of RTX features becoming a part of OpenGL’s spec at any point?

So yeah just a quick question, will raytracing etc ever be possible using OpenGL? For the newer 2080 cards etc?

I think it will not …
I’m not a member of Khronos group so I can’t be a 100% sure but I think this is unlikely.
Switch to Vulkan.
