Brightness control has been broken on my Eurocom Sky X7C (Clevo P775TM1-G) since driver version 460.xx. The machine always boots with the screen stuck at full brightness, and while using the brightness control shows the brightness bar indicator moving, the brightness itself is stuck at max. xbacklight control does not do anything, and I have also tried adding every possible kernel parameter.
This seems to have been an issue for a long time now… anyone found any workaround?
