Well, that didn’t help.
Also the intel driver is having problems (hence your tearing issues i guess):
[ 13.708912] i915 0000:00:02.0: Failed to program MOCS registers; expect performance issues.
Please look for a bios update.
Also check (even if there isn’t any) in bios if there is some setting like above 4G decoding / large 64bit Bars and enable it in case.
You might also try a 5.8 kernel (especially for the intel driver).
Sorry for taking ages to reply. I reached the new user post limit & had to wait a while before I could post again. Anyway… There appears to be a bios update available according to “here”. Somone on the #ubuntu irc channel helped me make the iso bootable using memdisk, but “this” is what I see when it boots…
I tried the exe on a windows computer, but couldn’t find anything to make a bootable usb. I’m going to try and buy some blank disks tonight & then try burning the iso to one…
I have that installed & tried it already, but it didn’t work. I’ve tried both the .iso & .img that I extracted from the .iso. When trying the iso it warns me that it’s not bootable. Hold on & I’ll try it again…
