SDKM_logs_JetPack_4.5.1_Linux_for_Jetson_Nano_[developer_kit_version]_2021-07-10_11-16-49.zip (180.0 KB)
When using SDKManager to install Jetpack 4.5.1 without an OS flask, I receive the Error "Multimedia API – Target: First Error Apt system is broken and requires manual fix. I will attach a ZIP of the Log files. I have tried to rerun many times – no change. I have also deleted the downloded Multimedia file and The manager has re-downloaded. This also does not correct the error… I am using the Manager to build the this SDK on 4GB Jetson developer kit P3450 on SSD. All other software appears normal.
I have the same problem ,but i can’t solve it,can you help me?Thank you!
I never received a reply from the moderator. I gave up! My Nano now sits in the junk box.
Hi,
This should have been posted in the Jetson Nano forum. I will move it there so the team can take a look.
Hi @johnwclark
Could you get into the Jetson Nano and try to install it from nvidia repos:
sudo apt install nvidia-l4t-jetson-multimedia-api
If that doesn’t work, it may give a hint on why you need a manual fix.
Best regards,

Thank you for this work-around.
Nano put back in the junk box. I cannot run OpenACC because HPC-SDK not supported on Jetson Nano.
and I am too old (71) to learn native CUDA.
