I am running OpenSuSE 15.6 x64 with the X11 session manager, KDE5/Plasma desktop. When X11 is started I am getting the following warnings in the Xorg.0.log file.

[ 715.849] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 0 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.849] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 1 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.849] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 2 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.849] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 3 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.862] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): Failed to set the display configuration
[ 715.862] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 0 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.862] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 1 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.862] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 2 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.862] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): - Setting a mode on head 3 failed: Insufficient permissions
[ 715.862] (WW) NVIDIA(G0): Failed to set DPMS to off
Can anyone tell me what these insufficient permissions warnings mean and how to fix them?
