Short freezes when UI application launches

Hi,

I’m having problems with A2000 GPU on Lenovo P1 laptop with Ubuntu 22.04 and nvidia-driver-515.
I have never seen such issue before and it is not occurring on Windows.

For some reason, every time I open an application from application launcher, whole UI freezes (Xserver) for 1-3 seconds. Once application opens, everything works to some extend fine.

There is one exception to this rule, If I open VMWare Horizon, it freezes on every windows move, resize and close of window.

Are you sure you’re running on X11, not Wayland?
Please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post.
