SOLVED: 4K monitor connected to GTX 770 via display port: is 60 fps possible?

driver is NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-346.72. The screen reports 30 fps at 3840x2160 resolution. Is there something I can do in the Nvidia control panel or manually in xorg.conf to obtain 60 Kz vertical refresh?

According to the product specification the hardware is capable of 60 Hz via display port:

Thannks and regards,

edit: the monitor reports DP 1.1, version 1.2 is greyed out for unknown reasons

OK, I’ll have to eat my hat. It was a typical user error, not being able to operate the menu correctly. Once I did manage to select DP 1.2, the display had 60 Hz vertical refresh. All is good. Message is closed. ^^
