I try format a 32 GB sdcard with ext4 then here is my last attempt to flashing the Nano, Saturday Agu 10 16:40:37 GMT+7 2019. It still stuck at Writing partition APP with system.img. Argghh!

I also replace hdmi cable, my power supply 5V/5A, put J48 jumper on, and J40 jumper for recovery mode. The power led is on. I believed my Nano is still working from last attempt. Or is there any way to check whether Nano hardware is broken or still working?

Once I success flashing jetson-nano-sd-r32.2-2019-07-16.zip with 16 GB, the Nano is booting and working. However, I put back the 16 GB sdcard back, but the Nano gives blank screen, no boot.

Please help me to overcome this frustration. Thank you very much in advance.

Warmest Regards,
Suryadi

Power off/on/off the Jetson Nano, it display nothing at all.

Is there any way to make this sdcard bootable at Jetson Nano (dev kit)?

Thank you very much in advance.

warmest regards,
Suryadi

I try also writing the image using command line.

The power led is on. My hdmi screen gives NO SIGNAL. Nothing happens.

Can I get an RMA (Return Material Authorization)?

Is it confirm that my Jetson Nano damaged? Where is nearest the service center for Jetson Nano for Indonesia? Is it at Singapore?

Thank you very much in advance.

Warmest regards,
Suryadi

Dear all,

Today, I borrow Nano from my friend. My 64 GB with DLI Nano can boot and run smoothly. I can remotely from my ubuntu host access 192.168.55.1:8888 and running hello_camera, it works.
When I put back my 64 GB at my Nano, it does not boot.

I suspect sdcard slot at my nano board is broken and need to repair. Thank you very much.

Warmest regards,
Suryadi

Just now, I was using my friend’s Jetson Nano using SDK Manager to write JetPack 4.2.1, also failed at the same spot.

Details are at
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1049028/jetson-nano/can-t-flash-emmc-correctly/post/5372775/#5372775

Hi Suryadi,

I had the exact same problem when Nvidia sent me a defective unit , and had tried to RMA it again.

Unfortunately, the RMA centre is in Europe, and it’s “outside” the warranty region for those outside of US and Europe. So you have to pay for shipping and a forwarding service which can cost you half of a new Jetson Nano. (I’m living in japan). If you bought it from a distributer i recommend that you talk with them and see if you can exchange it. Otherwise, you’re out of luck. (This is atrocious for a global company like Nvidia)

As for the SDK Manager error, I suggest you use data micro usb cable from Nvidia, or a reputable 3rd party company. As mentioned from others, most cheap micro usb cables are only used for charging and are incompatible for transferring data.

Dear Michael,

Thank you very much for your suggestion using better usb cable. Now I can write Jetpack 4.2.1 image using flash command. My own nano is confirmed cannot boot (defect).

Warmest Regards,
Suryadi
