When I login to the x server , the screen connected to Displayport 7 of the nvidia card receives a resolution of 1280x1024 with black sidebars almost 50 mm wide left and right on the screen.
By using arandr , I can select 1440x900 and have a screen without black sidebars. Though the resolution is a bit more crude.
How is it possible to set this resolution so that I do not have to start and use arandr after each login/restart ?
