Status of CUDA in WSL 2 in 21H1?

Hello! I’m currently in need of doing some research to incorporate CUDA in some data processing steps in the company I work for. I read somewhere that GPU on WSL 2 was planned for release 21H1 of Windows 10. Now that 21H1 has been officially released, is support for it still on track? That would help me a lot - while I’m still able to code without it, not having a place to test my code in my local machine might hinder my efforts…

The Windows 10, version 21H1 release will not bring updates to the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program and will follow the same guidelines as 20H2.

Wait for 21H2 if you do not want join the Windows dev channel.

Although, let me tell you: nvidia’s response is the most confusing headline I have ever seen - why couldn´t they just say “no, its not ready”? :|
