Tegra-v4l2 or standard v4l2

I am developing MIPI CSI-2 camera driver, and we can capture image via tegra-v4l2 successfully.

Currently, we intent to replace tegra-v4l2 by standard v4l2 (for cross platform flexiility).

Is that possible for using standard v4l2 instead of tegra-v4l2?

ideally yes, but I’ve never test that.
