Hi, I get different texture quality when using default Perspective camera vs non-default camera in USD Composer (same result with using RTX-interactive or Realtime) :
@mzaras just playing the devil’s advocate here, is it possible for you to line both cameras up at the same position and orientation? just so we can rule out any variables (i know it’s never going to exact, but the more you can match it, the better). also, could you elaborate on how you created the custom camera, was it through the Create menu at the top, right click menu in viewport/stage, or Create from View + option from the viewport camera menu dropdown?
That just looks to me like you are closer to the ground on one of the views. There is no way the texture quality can change with just camera view. Make sure your textures are high resolution and you are rendering in a high resolution.
Thanks for your input Simplychenable and Richard3D. I was asking on behalf of my colleague. We will compare the Perspective vs custom camera from a similar vantage point and up the resolution for rendering and see if that helps. Thanks!
