THS0 UART is not receiving any data

Hello,
I have a problem with UART on my device (I’m using ttyTHS0) - after the restart, it’s stopped receiving any data (sending is still working). I tried different programs to receive (which worked previously) to make sure it’s not my program’s fault. I changed senders (Arduino, STM, PC) but I have no idea what’s going on, any ideas on how to fix that?
I was working on pretty high speeds, is there a chance that it could break something?

may I know what’s your target baudrate?
the default uart is using 115200/8n1. did you have done modifications to update the settings?

Yup, I used 6.250.000 baudrate (I asked about this here), and it was working correctly, but after some time and restart it’s stopped receiving anything.

I also connected the converter (115200 BR) and it also started working only one way, it seems like any tty now cannot receive anything.

could you please have a try to execute getty running at background to ensure data transferred properly,
for example, $ sudo /sbin/getty -a ubuntu -L 115200 ttyTHS<port> &

did you have any device tree updates?
those kernel messages indicate you’re using the device tree blob with native JetPack release version.

I don’t think so, I run an upgrade once and it bricked my device so I now try to avoid any system changes. I use a development board so I thought there was no need to look into it more.
I have a plain SDcard image installed, some handy packages, and OpenCV. I do everything from the c++ code now.

Here’s part of my code that set settings for serial, but as I said other applications for that also have that problem so I don’t think it caused that.

I’m going to suggest a test before using the C code interface (and keep in mind the C interface options depend on the driver, and the “/dev/ttyS#” uses a legacy driver, while the “/dev/ttyTHS#” uses an NVIDIA-based DMA-capable driver). On the Jetson, disconnect anything on the serial UART terminals. Wire TX to RX, and see if a serial console program can echo text. Also try with CTS and RTS wired together, see if anything differs. Then use the serial console program itself to set for whatever rate/spec you are using in C, and see if the terminal can echo text with those specific settings. This will narrow down what you are looking for.
