I’ve looked at this post about the TX2 NX thermal zones:

But I’m not clear.
In the thermal design guide Table 2-1, it states the T.gpu temperature is measured by the “ao-therm” sensor. Looking at tegrastats and the sysfs, I don’t see a reference to this sensor type.
Also, for zone5 or type “thermal-fan-est” where is the sensor located and what are the thresholds?
the sysfs give this for thresholds but this doesn’t seem useful
