Ubuntu 20.04 LTS fractional scaling fails with 4 monitors

I have an Asus branded RTX 2060 with 4 Dell U2718Q’s connected. When I enable “Fractional Scaling” and select 125% or 150% on all for monitors from the “Display Settings” the scale is completely messed up. The only way to describe it is that some of the monitors scale is way beyond 150% but other are untouched. The actual desktop of each monitor seems to overlap as well.

Thanks,
Scott

Fractional scaling on Xorg is an experimental Ubuntu feature that doesn’t seem to be working correctly. Rather try setting this manually:
https://ricostacruz.com/til/fractional-scaling-on-xorg-linux

Thank you for the response. I gave the instructions on that site a try, but the results were similar to what I experienced with the built in fractional settings of Ubuntu 20.

I found some references to this bug: Bug #1873403 “[nvidia] Screen turns off when trying to set some ...” : Bugs : mutter package : Ubuntu

I think I’ll wait it out and see if anything comes from that.

Thanks again.
