Ubuntu 22.04.4 laptop screen not working, external monitor does - RTX4090 & Core U9

Hi, I have a new laptop MSI Stealth 16AI Studio A1V and after installing nvidia drivers my laptop screen is not working. There are usually some logs (also available in the nividia bug report) there or blinking cursor on that screen. Unfortunately I cannot get both screens to work. Hope you can help me.

Here is what I’ve tried so far:

  • Installing 535 and 545 versions - only external monitor is working
  • Installing 525 - only laptop monitor is working
  • Removing /etc/X11/xorg.conf
  • Disabling Wayland in /etc/gdm3/custom.conf

Please delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf
The internal display is driven by the intel igpu. You cpu is brand new, so you need the latest kernel to drive it. Please add the liquorix ppa to install it.

Thank you, removing xorg.conf, switching to 6.7.8-1-liquorix-amd64 kernel and reinstalling the drivers (545) helped. Now both of my monitors are working :)
