hi everybody!

I’m using ubuntu 16.04 with acer predator with geforce gtx 1050 on board.

your solution works fine for me but there is a little problem: every time when I turn on my laptop while it’s unplugged, this config file (/etc/alternatives/x86_64-linux-gnu_nvidia_modconf in my case) is being overwritten.

in theory this could be fixed with a cli command like ‘replace this line and then restart the service’ but this doesn’t work without restarting an OS. can you please suggest any solutions?
