Note that I did install v4l2loopback with dkms package, that installed some other more recent linux headers and maybe other packages.

Can someone advise about what could be the cause and possible threats ?

Thanks

Hi Honey_Patouceul,

We can reproduce this issue and ask internal team to investigate this issue now.
We will update the status once any more finding.

Thanks

Hi Kayccc,

Thanks for the confirmation.
These seems to be warnings only, but since initramfs errors are likely to make system unbootable I did report.

I’m able to get rid of the resume warnings creating file /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume with:

RESUME=none

Not further digged about the other warnings.

Hi Honey_Patouceul,

This is canonical issue which you can refer to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1800719.

The linked issue refers to the problem with the symlinks in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/, there is not a single mention of the resume warning ("The initramfs will attempt to resume from /dev/zram3"). Both of these warnings I am still seeing on JP 4.6, where the /boot/initrd.img file is also unusable and leads to boot-time crashes.

Hi juerg,

Please file new topic for new issue.
Thanks!
