Is Xinerama the same as 2D Surround? I set up Xinerama for the first time and was curious if I can play games like Minecraft at 5760 x 1080 like I can in Windows. Thanks
Well, I just setup Minecraft and it only works on one screen. That is a real bummer as I would like to play Minecraft at 5760 x 1080 in Linux.
Without knowing about your setup, it’s hard to say. How many GPUs and monitors do you have attached? If your motherboard is SLI-capable and your GPUs are compatible, you could try BaseMosaic instead of Xinerama.
