Mobile Kepler cards like the Quadro K5100m are supported by the 470 Linux driver series (driver installs and works without issues), but are not listed in the Supported Products tab on the driver page (Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver | 470.129.06 | Linux 64-bit | NVIDIA) or in Appendix A of the 470 readme.
However, the mobile Kepler cards ARE listed as being supported by the 470 driver in the 510 readme. In addition, when trying to install the 510 driver a message appears saying the chip is supported by the 470 series but not 510.
Please update the supported chips list(s) for the 470 Linux driver, as this causes a driver search on the nvidia site to return 418 as the latest driver for mobile Kepler cards. This also causes packages like Debian’s nvidia-detect to incorrectly determine that 390 is the latest compatible driver.
