About the use of the microUSB port

Is the microUSB port of the devkit carrier board used for anything other than flashing?

Thank you.

It will form as a usb internet interface with ip on jetson and on your x64 host.

SDKM uses this interface to send sdk to your board to install. That is why installing sdk does not require the board in recovery mode.

FYI, the connector is “micro-OTG”, and this accepts either a micro-B cable (making the Jetson a device), or a micro-A cable (normally this would make the Jetson a host, but this functionality is not available on a Nano dev kit, so there is no host mode).
