After 346.16 upgrade, laptop panel is detected as both DFP-0 and CRT-0 on a Thinkpad T530 with a NVS

I just upgraded my Thinkpad T530 with a Quadro NVS5400m GPU to 346.16 from 343.22. After the upgrade, the laptop panel is detected as both DFP-0 and CRT-0, causing the desktop to be extended onto a display that does not exist. If I blindly log in, start nvidia-settings, and disable the CRT-0 output, it behaves properly.

I am having the exact same issue.

I have downgraded to the previous stable and it appears to have returned to normal.

I will generate the said bug-report-log file.

I have a T520 and a T530. They both do the same.

I am also seeing another (I believe) known issue when my laptop is in UEFI mode. I have no VT’s and see nothing of my boot process until I reach X. I think, currently, this is expected due to incompatibilities with the driver and the efifb drivers…

Many users reported this issue. We are internally tracking this issue in bug 200054141 .
