Agx Orin 64GB runs over 60W not industrail version

Hi Nvidia team,

I’m running a GPU burn in test. I’m using AGX Orin 64GB SOM and select the MAXN mode.

As you see, the total consumption is over the 60W. The total power is VDD_GPU_SOC + VDD_CPU_CV + VIN_SYS_5V0 ~= 70W. Why do I get this result? I checked my 0x50 content, it isn’t an industrial version for Agx Orin 64GB, is it?

Hi ruei_chang,

Please refer to the following thread for the similar question as yours.

I checked the thread you mentioned and used the formula to calculate the total power consumption. Based on my data, here is the result:

My AGX Orin 64GB is running over the 60W spec. Is that normal?

For VDD_GPU_SOC, 43.451W is the Instant power.

To calculate the power consumption, it should be derived from Average power => VDD_GPU_SOC(30.7W)+VDD_CPU_CV(14.6W) + VIN_SYS_5V0(9.7W) = 55 W

Got it. Thank you for your reply.
