Jao 64g: power gui maxn 60w issue

Hi NV Support Team
We use 64G Orin and Jetson Power GUI to monitor max power but can not get 60W from GUI
The max power is ~52W,
My query:

  1. Can you please show your power gui setting for 60W case to me ?
  2. Can you please check if my setting have some missing item or not correct setting ?

BTW: I have double check CPU, GPU ,EMC, DLA, PVA, DEC, ENC,JPG, SE, APE all in max loading and with max frequeny. Please find my setting in below.

Yes, We still need NV support because we can not got ~60W power.
Can you show your Power GUI screen snap ?

Generally we don’t share such info here. What kind of application are you using now to push the limit?

We are working the thermal test but we need ORIN worin in max power as show datasheet, 64G max power ~60W.
But we only get 52W even all CPU ,GUP… in 100% loading as show in my screen snap in ticket.
Please check if we have missing something?

Follow up your GPU Stress Test, We can got 81W power for jetson orin.
I have concern the Orin max power is 60W from datasheet, But why we can get 80W power?

Hi Yutai,

The last 6790mW does not need to add up. It is already included in the SYS5V0.

I think OC limit warning should be triggered. It seems shown in your screenshot.

Not include VDDQ_VDD2_1V8AO the total power also > 60W
Question:

  1. If we finding OC how to reduce power from jetpack ?
  2. Does Orin only guarantee 60W max power ?
  3. If we use best cooling can we use ORIN power > 60W.

No, we don’t suggest that.

Can you confirm the Orin total power from GUI. Which one is correct ?

  1. TDP 60W=VDD_GPU_SOC + VDD_CPU_CV
  2. TDP 60W=VDD_GPU_SOC + VDD_CPU_CV+VIN_SYS_5V0
    Notes: VDDQ_VDD2_1V8AO power inclulde in VIN_SYS_5V.
