Alienware x16 RTX 4090 Ubuntu 20.04 not recognizing HDMI external monitor

I recently purchased an Alienware X16 with an RTX 4090 video card. I dual-booted it with Ubuntu 20.04 to work on a project but found that it did not recognize my external monitor. For the past few weeks, I have been playing with switching between different display drivers and have had no luck. I’ve also tried the auto driver install and tried switching my kernel as well. I am pretty sure the display is not the issue because I have tried different cables and other monitors with no luck.

Your kernel and firmware is too old to drive your intel igpu. Please use the liquorix ppa to upgrade the kernel and install the firmware package from 22.04 manually:
http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux-firmware/linux-firmware_20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.26_all.deb

It seems I am unable to boot into the Liquorix kernel. I keep getting the following error screen when I try.

Did you install the firmware package? This has to be done prior to booting the new kernel.
