We can not use it with JetPack 4 on Jetson Nano.

JetPack 4.6.1 remains the current production release supporting Jetson AGX Xavier series, Jetson Xavier NX series, Jetson TX2 series, Jetson Nano, and Jetson TX1.

Does it mean that support for Jetson Nano, TX1 and TX2 is removed from the future versions of JetPack?

This probably is not yet relevant, but I see hope for improved “recent release” software becoming possible due to the change to booting with UEFI. The Orin with L4T R34.x is the beginning of this, and I expect Xavier will get this as well. Migration to a new major release of Linux kernel is part of the difficulty of going to a new major release of any distribution, but in my opinion, it has been boot setup which has made this most difficult. UEFI will perhaps make newer major distribution releases easier. Certainly, if anyone wants to build their own customization, UEFI will vastly improve the odds of succeeding.

I would like an answer to this too. It’s pretty worrying if that is the case.

I don’t have a “good” answer to that. It is just my subjective feeling though that the UEFI efforts will make a better boot environment, and solve many of the boot difficulties. Nano is itself just too old and “new feature” development reached end of life quite some time ago, so Nano won’t be part of the UEFI development (it still gets bug and security fixes).
