How to modify the Docker network configuration in/opt/ove/base_stack/nicleus-stack.env before installation? Because the default network conflicts with our subnet.
I have another question to ask, is the recommended Ubuntu version desktop or server?
@user112062 What is the hardware GPU that you are using?
@user112062 Thanks. We have not qualified Ubuntu desktop, meaning we have not tested with desktop version. Can you share nvidia-smi without -L? I want to see the configuration of L40: is it in TCC or WDDM mode. In general Ubuntu desktop should work- but you would need to try it yourself.
There is another issue. I am a Chinese user and have been experiencing some problems with your 1.2.0 installation method, such as VNC not being able to connect. But there were no errors during my installation.
@user112062 The GPU configuration looks OK. Did you try the installation?
Regarding VNC:
- Did you install on fresh OS? AODT installs tigervnc. If a VNC already exisits, then it conflicts with existing installations.
- Is a vncserver running?
- Did you use port 5901 to connect?
Hello, thank you very much for helping to solve the VNC issue. It was caused by me forgetting to add port 5901.
A new problem has arisen:
- I have to log in via email instead of the login method in the document, and I will be stuck in this interface when logging in.
- After restarting the server, I found these errors in/var/log/syslog/.

Looks like OV is not able to open a browser. Which browser do you use? Please try to use another browser (install another browser and make it as default).
I have never installed a browser. It was automatically installed by your scripts. I tried installing it again, but I still encountered the same issue. I even uninstalled the Snap package manager, thinking it might be the problem. However, I am still stuck at the login stage.
@user112062 what is the version of the OS? Did you try installing an alternate browser as recommended earlier?
Thank you very much.
My system version is Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. After installing Chrome, I can log in via email, but there is an error when opening Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin 1.2.0.
And I haven’t encountered any place where I need to fill in the following account password.
username: omniverse
password: aerial_123456
@user112062 These error should not prevent you from using AODT. You will need to enter the authentication when you connect to the nucleus server. To open map, go to : content->omniverse-server>user>aerial>plateau. When you try to access this folder, you will be asked for the omniverse credientials.
Hello, I can open tokyo.usd according to the tutorial, but I am unable to create a panel. Here is a screenshot of the error message:
@user112062 Can you share a video showing how you are adding panels?
This is the process of creating the panel. Could you please help me identify where the problem lies? Thank you.
@user112062 your steps are correct. We need to investigate the error. In mean time, can you connect to the back end? Are you able to add other prims (UE/RU/DU)?
@user112062 Once you connect to the backend, you will be able to add the panels.
I am unable to create (UE/RU/DU) and there is no response after creation. My deployment method is Dell R750 (Clustered). How can I connect to the backend?
I have tried to initialize the system and reinstall AODT about 4-5 times, and each time it has the same result. Do you need the system log to help me check?
Thank you.
