I will be evaluating the NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer Kit (945-13450-0000-100) with dual camera inputs. Arducam has inexpensive 2MP AR0230 HDR cameras, but they have rolling shutters. I don’t care about image quality or minor artifacts, just xyz data. The scene is relatively slow moving. The objects I need to track are on the small size. Lighting will be ample and adjustable (LED). I believe high dynamic range cameras will prove to be valuable.
Does the rolling shutter of the AR0230 HDR cameras prevent their use under the above conditions? Any advice or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
