Ask about MIPI DSC, color depth and C-PHY

Good morning :-D
I have several questions about Jetson TX2.

1. TX2 supports MIPI DSC(Display Stream Compression)?
As I known, TX1 not supports DSC.

2. TX2 supports Display Color depth 10bit? (RGB 30bit (RGB101010))
I found related contents in datasheet of Jetson TX2 module but it is not clear.

4.4.3 Embedded DisplayPort(eDP) Interface
 eDP 1.4
- 1/2/4 lanes, single link
- RBR/HBR/HBR2
- 18/24/36 bit color depth

3. TX2 supports MIPI DSI C-PHY?
I also found related contents in datasheet but to clarify, I ask about it.

4.9 Video Input Interfaces
v1.3, protocol stack; supports both D-PHY v1.2 and C-PHY v1.0; and is paired with the 4th generation NVIDIA video input (VI)

You are right most of them. But the DSI C-PHY may need to confirm. Could you point where you get the information about the MIPI DSI C-PHY support.

& I got the information(Ask) about C-PHY support from our customer.

You are right. There is no DSC (link compression) support for TX2 either.

Does TX2 support DSC V1.1 encode? Does TX2 still not support DSC?

As we checked TX2 datasheet, it doesn’t support DSC feature. So, we need to clarify if TX2 supports DSC or not this moment.

Yes, DSC is still not included in sw support scope.
