AWS NVIDIA A10 on g5 instance GPU with GRID driver is not used by business applications

I have a AWS’s g5.4xlarge instance provisioned with NVIDIA A10 graphics card. The instance is running Windows Server 2016 Data Center and has 528.89_grid_win10_win11_server2019_server2022_dch_64bit_international_aws_swl GRID driver installed.
The activation registry settings are set per instructions from AWS:

There are no red flags in DeviceManager and the card appears to work correctly.

The applications , howevher , don’t use the GPU. The CPU gets used at 100% and the NVIDIA control panel only uses the logonui.exe and other Windows apps , but not the business applications.

How do I troubleshoot and fix this issue?
( also the configuration is identical to other instances that work correctly)

I figured it out , the issue has to do with the GPO settings must be set to enabled:

RemoteFX for Windows Server
Optimize visual experience when using RemoteFX
Optimize visual experience for Remote Desktop Service Sessions
Use the hardware default graphics adapter for all Remote Desktop Services sessions
Configure compression for RemoteFX data

Hi there @stanley.girshik and welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums!

Thank you for updating your post with your solution, that is very much appreciated!

I also take the liberty of moving the post to the dedicated AWS category we have on this server.

Thanks!
