Best video player

I have a cam feed I want to view in RTP/RTSP. I have tried ffplay and VLC and they both core dump!
Any ideas why or which player is already best optimised for the Nano?

GStreamer is best on Nano. Please see the linked usage guide for examples.

Also you can run videos with Totem this only player are I found are supporting Gstreamer API.
