Black screen after installing NVIDIA driver on Ubuntu 18.04

I bought a new Alienware M15 R5 with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060, 6 GB, GDDR6 and I have to use Ubuntu 18.04 for robotics application (not 20.04).

I tried both installing 465, 460, and 460.39 drivers through Ubuntu and runfile. But all methods are not working.

Please help.

I use dual boot and another system is Windows 10. I have set Secure Boot disabled.

Now I installed the runfile in kernel 5.4 and when I boot into it, it is black screen. I go to prompt and I can see the driver after typing “nvidia-smi”.
