TLDR: Black screen on boot with SD card inserted. Nvidia logo showing if booted with SD card removed.
I tried decreasing my boot time on my Jetson Xavier NX. I edited the file /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf by replacing the default APPEND with “APPEND ${cbootargs} quiet”, this caused a black screen on boot. I reversed the change by removing the SD card and editing the file back to default on another machine. However I am still getting black screen. Re-formatting the SD card is not an option.

Can you please try if flashing only the QSPI bootloader fixes it?
sudo ./flash.sh jetson-xavier-nx-devkit-qspi internal
It will not modify anything on the SD card.
Or get another module for testing if you have one.
where can I get the flash.sh script and files?
Reflashed, looks good. However keyboard is not working.

No its not solved. Its stuck on UEFI interactive shell, no keyboard input.

Get the full log, please.
You can always connect UART and use the keyboard on the host PC instead.
Then choose SD card in the boot order menu and see if it boots.
