Blank screen after installing driver for GeForce 960 on Ubuntu 20.10

Hello!

I’m not sure if I have posted to the appropriate place, but I need help with my Nvidia GPU and my ubuntu operating system. Simply, I install the recommended Nvidia driver for my 960gtx and upon reboot, I get a blank screen ( that seems to flicker periodically ). I have to purge the nvidia drivers to get my screen back ( where I find that I am using nouveau ). I am running Ubuntu 20.10.

I have attached the output of nvidia-bug-report.sh. I would love to have some direction in solving this problem. Please help.

Don’t know where that comes from, I guess with nouveau a wayland session is started so it works. Please check disk space, xkb setup.
