Brand new jetson orin nano36.4.3 wont boot jetpack 4.6.1

Brand new jetson orin nano 36.4.3 wont boot jetpack 4.6.1.

Using sd method: SanDisk extreme pro 256gb sdxc v30.

I took it out of the packaging, flashed jetpack to the micro sd using balena etcher, inserted it into the jetson orin nano and plugged it in.

It just says network error or some kind of “not connected to the internet” error and eventually ends up in a CLI screen with a bunch of BLK codes.

If i plug the ethernet in it just tries loading using a few different methods (i cant remember what they were.. ) and failing a bunch of times and ending up at the same CLI screen.

Ive heard it works to downgrade to <36 and run through the setup that way but id really prefer not to and thought id check her before I start messing with things that might not be broken.

Thank you for your time!

Is that a Orin Nano or Jetson Nano…? These two are different boards…

Your filed your topic in Jetson nano forum.

Its a jetson orin nano. Sorry I just typed in jetson orin nano and clicked on what came up. Im doing this one my phone so the full name was cut off.

You should read this page first. It seems you don’t know what version supports what platform.

Jetpack6 is rel-36.x
Jetpack5 is rel-35.x
Jetpack4 is rel-32.x.

Jetpack4 is almost EOL and not support any Orin platform there.

Im a beginner and the file had those numbers in the filename, but i downloaded the jetpsck file from the nvidia startup guide for the jetson orin nano so I can only assume its the latest firmware.

I searched for jetpack 6 specifically on Google and downloaded that and it booted up no problem. Thank you.
