Can not disable ECC on my Linux server

Hi,
I am running a Debian 11 server with 3 RTX A6000s. I am trying to disable ECC support on the GPUs.
I used “sudo nvidia-smi -e 0”, it tell me to reboot. But ECC is back after i rebooted. How can i disable it?
I am running 535.54.03 with CUDA 12.2

I am experiencing this issue as well on some Tesla T4’s, currently running Ubuntu 22.04 on driver 535.129.03 cuda version 12.2.
