CentOS Dual 4k Displays

Hello. I am trying to drive dual 4k monitors with the Quadro RTX 4000 using CentOS 7. I am trying to drive them at their native 4k resolution at 60 Hz. Will this be possible with CentOS 7? Can an NVidia engineer confirm this setup will work? Which DisplayPort version (1.x, 2.x, etc.) should the monitors I buy have? It would be good to know before I buy the hardware. Thank you.

I don’t work for Nvidia or can answer your question specifically, but I drive dual 4k Monitors (LG 31MU97Z-B) + a 1080p projector setup with an GTX 1080 Ti on CentOS 7, so I doubt there would be any problems with the setup you are describing.

Great, thank you. I guess it’s safe to assume if the GTX 1080 can do it, the RTX 4000 quadro can. I was much more concerned about CentOS being able to handle it than I was concerned about the hardware.

Hi til_benjin,

One quick thing I forgot to ask you. Were you able to get 60 Hz on both displays? Thanks.
