Comparsion between NVIDIA Orin NX and Orin Nano

Hello @rjaffeco,

Let me try to answer your questions.

  1. You can check EOL for any Jetson module from NVIDIA’s Official Documentation Here.

  1. I would say both are the same in terms of complexity and learning curve. And for ASR and TTS I think both might behave the same. Where you may notice a difference is if you need to encode/decode video since the Nano does not have HW encoder/decoder whereas the NX does and also, the NX has a bit more of inferencing power in case you want to run models on the heavier side.

  2. Only Orin Nano Devkit supports MicroSD Card. Production Orin Nano and NX do not, according to this.

  3. There are different ways of flashing Jetson devices and all of them share the most common ones.

a. You can flash by plugging the device to a linux machine running SDK Manager and flash it.

b. You can flash by plugging the device to a linux machine and using a flashing script.

There are other ways of flashing, although those are the most common and stable ones.

Please let me know if you haver any other questions or require further support, we would love to help.
