We are very pleased to announce the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ Nano Developer Kit. The Jetson Orin™ Nano Developer Kit sets a new standard for creating entry-level AI-powered robots, smart drones, and intelligent cameras. It provides a giant leap in performance by packing 40 TOPS of AI performance which is 80X higher than the original Jetson Nano Developer Kit and comes with a full range of IO connectors making it the perfect developer kit for your AI projects.
The developer kit includes a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module which features an NVIDIA® Ampere GPU (with 1024 CUDA® cores and 32 third-generation Tensor cores) and a 6-core ARM CPU, capable of running multiple concurrent AI application pipelines and delivering high inference performance. The developer kit carrier board can support all Jetson Orin Nano and Orin NX modules, providing an ideal platform for developing for all 4 modules, i.e, Jetson Orin Nano 8GB, Jetson Orin Nano 4GB, Jetson Orin NX 16GB and Jetson Orin NX 8GB.
The Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit carrier board comes with two MIPI CSI connectors supporting camera modules with up to four lanes, 40-pin GPIO header, 2 M.2 Key M interface, 1 M.2 Key E which is pre populated with a wifi networking card, 1 Gbe ethernet port, a Display port, multiple USB type A ports and 1 USB type C port for debugging.
The Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit is powered by the NVIDIA AI software stack that not only accelerates AI applications end-to-end running on the edge but also accelerates end-to-end AI development workflow from cloud to the edge. Model development in the cloud including Synthetic Data Generation using Omniverse Replicator, several pre-trained models for vision and conversational use cases on Nvidia GPU Cloud (NGC), model training and optimization using NVIDIA Train-Adapt-Optimize; and runtime acceleration at the edge with AI frameworks like DeepStream for acceleration vision analytics, Isaac for accelerating Robotics and Riva for accelerating conversational AI. From cloud to the edge, NVIDIA AI software stack provides solutions to make development easy and fun and for our customers to bring their products to market faster. Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit is supported by JetPack 5.1.1 which will be released on March 28 2023.
The Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit is now available for preorder at $499, and will start shipping in April. In addition, we are also announcing the availability of the full lineup of the NVIDIA Jetson Orin family of production modules, including the Jetson AGX Orin Series, the Jetson Orin NX Series, and the Jetson Orin Nano Series. The Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit has also now been upgraded to include 64 GB of memory for the same price of $1,999. Check distributors in your region for availability to order.
