Compatability with Windows Vista

Hello PGI folks,

I’m currently running PGI HPF Workstation 6.2-5 as a 32-bit installation on my Athlon 64 home machine, which runs 32-bit Windows XP Professional. I’m contemplating upgrading the operating system to 64-bit Windows Vista, but I wanted to check to make sure that the 64-bit HPF Workstation 6.2-5 is compatible with 64-bit Vista?

Hi Chris,

The up-coming 7.0 release will support Vista. Unfortunately, the Installshield that we used with 6.2 doesn’t install on Vista and the Cygwin version that ships with 6.2 needed to be updated as well.
