computeprof.app do not run the application ... (problem loading the dynamic library)

Hi all,

I’m running CUDA 3.1 on MAcOS 10.6.4 on a powerbook pro (GeForce 9400M)

I correctly run my application, but when I run compiteprof.app
(nvidia compute visual profiler version 3.1.1) on the same application,
with the same command line parameters i get the following errors
(problem with dynamic library loading): did I miss some configurations?

thanks
giammy

Hi all,

this problem is resolved: running the computeprof application from GUI

apparently do not set the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH variable.

Running it from command line fix the problems … is it an application

or configuration bug?

Anyway, another problem is that, after compiling the SDK examples, i’m

testing matrixmul, it runs correctly, but computeprof get no data:

There is some error in profiling. The profiler output file is empty.

any idea?

thanks

giammy

another update: running the program with the triangle icon on the gui give

the error result i posted in the last reply, but if I open

Session -> Session Settings and I push the start button in this window,

the program runs correctly and the profiling is working correctly!

Again: anyone has these problems? is it a my misconfiguration?

thanks
