I’m using the Omniverse Streaming Client to connect to isaac sim running on an AWS g5.2xlarge ec2 instance with the NVIDIA Omniverse GPU-Optimized AMI and the latest nvcr.io/nvidia/isaac-sim:4.1.0 docker image.
My question is whether it is possible to connect to the omniverse assets at isaac-dev.ov.nvidia.com?
I have tried configuring this url at the Isaac Sim Content Browser, but then I am presented with a login window which I am not sure how to satisfy since I’m on a remote client:
Of course I have also downloaded the assets locally on my machine, and then, for example, I could copy the JetBot.usd example to the ec2 instance and load it in Isaac Sim, but it’s a bit cumbersome.
You can run anything on a remote machine and view in using ordinary remote desktop viewing software, like Windows Remote Desktop, VNC, AnyViewer etc. There is nothing special about the stream client. It does the exact same thing that any remote desktop software does.
Returning to the original question - is it possible for one to connect to the isaac sim assets at http://isaac-dev.ov.nvidia.com instead of downloading the assets? is this a public nvidia server with the assets?
