Connector MIPI 2 and 4 lanes

Dear all,

For my project, I am using a single MIPI camera 2 lanes.
My question is:

Do you know if a 4 lanes is compatible with a 2 lanes camera ?
In other words, can I connect a 2 lanes camera on a 4 lanes connector ?
I just know the inverse is not possible.

each CSI brick had capability to handle x1 or x2 device.
two CSI bricks were involved if there’s one x4 sensor connected.

please refer to Sensor Software Driver Programming Guide for the [Port Index] mapping diagram.
you may access Jetson Nano Product Design Guide, please check [MIPI CSI (VIDEO INPUT)] chapter for the CSI connection examples.
