New DGX Spark, basically out of the box except for updates it did automatically. The console video, connected via HDMI, goes blank after a short period of inactivity. It then will not wake up. I thought it was a bluetooth keyboard/mouse issue, and used a USB connected keyboard/mouse, but that did not fix it. The Spark is still functioning, I can access it with Sync and SSH, but nothing I do will wake up the console video. The Caps lock light on the keyboard still functions. I created and have the nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file as requested and it is attached

Found the option under power settings to set the screen timeout to ‘never’, so at least I can use the console, but the ‘wake up’ function needs to be fixed please.
Apparently the console needs to have a user logged in for the screen timeout setting to take effect. After reboot if I forget to log in right away, the screen times out and won’t wake up again.
Does the monitor light back up if you use its power button to turn it off and on again? Looking at your log file, I see a few cases where an Acer S232HL shows up as connected, and then becomes disconnected and the desktop environment responds by setting the “NULL” mode (i.e. shutting down all displays). This happens with some monitors if they go into a “deep sleep” or “power save” mode where they just tell the monitor they’re disconnected. Please check the monitor’s on-screen display to see if there’s a toggle for an option like that somewhere.
Thanks for the update! It is an older monitor, I’ll get a new one and see if that resolves the problem.
Oops, forgot to answer the question, no it doesn’t wake up if turned off and on again. I’ll report back after I try a different monitor.
Are you using a wired KVM per chance?
No KVM switch, tried both wired and bluetooth keyboard and mouse, no difference.
New monitor resolved the problem, screen blank and wakeup work as expected now. Thanks!
