Disable recovery mode or USB 2.0 in recovery mode

Hello,

I am wondering if you can disable the recovery mode or USB 2.0 in recovery mode. The goal is to prevent someone from copying the files when Jetson TX2 is in recovery mode.

Thanks,
Dai

hello daidang561,

NO, we don’t support disable the recovery mode.

This portion of Jetson TX2 TegraBoot runs on BPMP (tboot-BPMP). There are two variants of TegraBoot-BPMP (MB2):

  • One used for cold boot
  • One for recovery boot
  • you may also refer to [NVIDIA Tegra Linux Driver Package]-> [Development Guide]-> [TX2 Boot Flow]-> [TegraBoot-BPMP] for more details.

suppose you’re looking for ways to prevent data accessing in the recovery mode,
please also refer to Topic 1039065 and Topic 1038950 for more information.
    thanks
