Display Port is not working

I bought a NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, but when I connect it to my monitor using a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable, nothing shows up—not even the splash screen. I watched some review videos, and it seems the splash screen should appear even without an SD card. However, my monitor just displays a “No Signal” message.

please enable serial console log first to check if the board is correctly power on and boot first.

Hello kamildogan,

When you first got your Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, did you initially flash the board?

Also, when you connected your board to a monitor using a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable, did it ever work at any point? Or did it fail to display anything right from the beginning?

To determine whether the issue is due to software corruption or simply a problem with the monitor connection, you can try accessing the board via the serial port or over SSH. I’ll include instructions for that below. If you’re able to connect to the board using either method, that would help verify whether the board itself is functioning properly, in which case, the issue is likely limited to the display connection.

If you don’t have anything important stored on the board, another option is to reflash JetPack onto it. This will erase the existing OS and install a fresh version.

For more details on how to connect via serial or SSH, and how to flash the board, please refer to the following guide: RidgeRun’s guide to NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, the steps are essentially the same for super developer kit.

Hope this helps!
