We are planning to get a workstation for our research. The ideal hardware mentioned in the documentation is RTX 6000 Ada (Isaac Sim Requirements — Omniverse IsaacSim) but now that 5000 series is out, I’m considering investing in the latest hardware. From what I see online it seems 5090 is ~15% faster on LLM workloads but again it maxes out at 32G VRAM which could limit what models can be run on it compared to RTX 6000’s 48G, not to mention 6000 is much more expensive. So there are pros and cons for both.
Economics and speed aside, wanted to understand if Isaac Sim works on a 5090. If not is there a timeline by which it will be supported?
