Hi NV team, we make a carrier board for the Jetson Orin NX 16GB module feature two PCIe interface for SSD and the DP port. We success to flash it the JP5.1 follow the guide for Orin NX + Xavier NX carrier board. However, one of the PCIe and DP port seems to be disabled. Could you please show me how could I enable them? Should I need to modify the souces codes and rebuild the kernel? If I should, which files should be edited?

reflash the Orin NX, however, the DP port could not work either. I also check the used pinmux file (tegra234-mb1-bct-pinmux-p3767-hdmi-a03.dtsi), it comments SFIO configuration, do I need to modify any other files for it?
And do you have any suggestions about the PCIe?

@Zera I am trying to do the same: Orin NX with Xavier NX carrier board. I followed the migration guide Nvidia provides to identify which pins are different between the two.
Do you mind sharing how you changed the pinmux for the Orin to allow it to flash to the Xavier NX? I can’t find any info online about the specifics of this step.
Searching on forum this issue (which we had as well) seems like a common issue experienced by many.
Of course it’s ok to do manual kernel mod once and command line flash file system to Orin NX but then can’t do OTA JP updates as kernel gets overwritten each time and mod is lost?
So it seems now without help on this issue from Nvidia that Orin NX is backwards step from Xavier NX for DP functionality?
Question: Can Nividia update in a release of JP to allow DP to work on Orin NX without requiring manual kernel modification?
Yes, we already updated. If you use orin nano devkit config then it by default will use DP instead of HDMI.
