Hello everybody,
Same issue here.
xset dpms force off
does switch monitors off, but then these go on again with NVIDIA logo and the system goes to lock mode with all monitors still active (blacked out, but with signal => resulting in highly visible IPS glow at night).
How could I make an attachment on this forum? I need to upload nvidia-bug-report.log.gz
Searched this forum and found no information on how other users make attachments.

EDIT: Attachment possible only AFTER posting a message on this forum. Possibly there are reasons for this, but from a user’s stand point it is quite counter-intuitive.
